Vice President Biden to Make Stop in Tulsa for DNC Event

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Vice President Joe Biden is expected in Tulsa next week to attend a Democratic National Committee event.

Biden's office announced the stop Friday as part of a three-state trip to California, Texas and Oklahoma. The office was expected to provide more details about the events later.

Biden, who recently decided against a run for president, will stop first in Los Angeles to participate in an event on the economy and then attend a Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee event.

Biden travels to Tulsa on Tuesday to attend a DNC event, and then leaves for Houston, where he'll stay overnight after attending a DSCC event. On Wednesday, Biden attends events in Houston, Dallas and San Antonio.

Biden returns to Washington afterward.
