UPDATED: Five Dead in Broken Arrow Homicide

KWGS News File Photo

Broken Arrow Police responded to a late night call Wednesday and found five family members dead.

A sixth victim, a 13-year-old girl, was still alive and taken to the hospital in critical condition. She is out of surgery and in serious but stable condition.

Another child, a 2-year-old girl, was found unharmed. She is in state custody.

Police arrested two brothers, a 16- and and an 18-year-old. The victims and the suspects are related. No names have been released, because the family's next of kin has not been notified.

The three children and two adults  who died were stabbed multiple times.

They were found around 11:30 p.m. when police went to a home in the 700 block of Magnolia Court, which is near 131st Street and Elm Place. Someone, possibly the 13-year-old girl, dialed 911 but didn't speak, and the line remained open.

The suspects fled when police arrived. A police dog and handler tracked them along a trail in a greenbelt behind the house.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is assisting in the investigation.
