Seminole, OK – SEMINOLE, Okla. (AP) A 22-year-old woman remains in serious condition after being hit by a stray bullet during a confrontation that left two Seminole County deputies dead.

Jennifer Bowen was standing in a yard across the street from where the deputies tried to serve an arrest warrant Sunday afternoon when gunfire broke out.

Bowen's mother-in-law Janet Bowen says she heard gunshots, looked out her window and saw Jennifer slowly collapse to the ground. She says one bullet went through her arm and lodged inside her chest.

Authorities have not released the names of the two deputies who were killed.

Ezekial Holbert is being held on first-degree murder complaints.
