Tulsa, OK – Relative of crash victim sues

TULSA, Okla. (AP) The brother of a woman who was killed in a rock quarry crash in Tulsa has filed a lawsuit that blames the quarry for the crash.

The lawsuit, filed on Tuesday, also names the driver of the vehicle, who also died in the Sept. 5 crash.

Troy Adams, 24; Mark Gaches, 23; and Andrea Merriman, 21, were killed when the pickup truck driven by Adams left the roadway and crashed into the APAC rock quarry. Amanda Stone, 19, another passenger, was seriously injured.

Records show that Blaze Neil Merriman sued Adams and APAC, Inc. on behalf of Andrea Merriman. It alleges that the crash occurred due to the negligence of Adams and the quarry.

An APAC representative could not be reached for comment on the lawsuit.
