UPDATE: Morning Fire Appears To Be Arson

KWGS News

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Authorities in Tulsa have arrested a man on an arson complaint in connection with a house fire that injured three children, including a 5-year-old boy who is critical condition.

The fire was reported early Tuesday in midtown Tulsa. Fire Department Capt. Stan May says firefighters found an 11-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy outside the burning home. May says firefighters also found a 5-year-old boy in a back bedroom, and pulled him to safety through a window.

The children were all taken to a Tulsa hospital, along with an 18-year-old who was also at the home.

Authorities say they believe the fire was set intentionally by a man who lives at the home. Police haven't identified that man but say he's been arrested on a complaint of first-degree arson.
