Claremore, OK – OOLOGAH, Okla. (AP) Authorities say a 2-year-old girl who disappeared from a campground at Oologah Lake has been found alive.

Searchers on horseback say they found the girl walking along a road confused but okay.

Rescue crews say they heard the girl calling for her father and found her. She was taken to a Claremore hospital as a precaution.

Her name hasn't been released.

Rogers County Sheriff Scott Walton says the girl was reported missing about 2 a.m. Monday from the Hawthorn Bluff campground. He says the girl's father and a sibling were fishing when the mother awoke to find the girl missing. The child was wearing only a diaper.

Walton says more than 100 deputies, firefighters, Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers and volunteers joined in the search.
