Tulsa, OK – Tulsa fire investigators continue their probe into two weekend day care fires. The blazes were reported about 30-minutes apart early Sunday morning. It appears at least one center was set on fire with a Molotov cocktail tossed through a window.
The operations are owned by the same woman and authorities speculate the fires are related.

The centers were not occupied at the time of the blaze and no one was injured. One center, pictured right, is on East Pine near Sheridan. The other is near 24th and Memorial.

The two fires listed above were at day care centers on Saturday night/Sunday. Because of the commonalities of the two fires (time of day, owner of both businesses, similar cause), Tulsa fire department investigators have determined that both fires are directly related. But because of the nature of the ongoing investigation, TFD investigators are not releasing any further information about the two fires. I will update all of you when I am given the authority from the Investigative Branch of the Tulsa Fire Department. Until then, I won't be putting out a press release so as to not impede with the investigation. Any information about the cause of this fire can be anonymously reported to 596-ARSN (596-2776). I'm sorry I don't have more information to release at this time.
