Oklahoma City, OK – The unemployment rate for the Tulsa Metro drops to six-percent.
That is down from six-point-four percent in July.
John Carpenter with the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission says while did Tulsa gain jobs, some workers threw in the towel.
He says 11-hundred people lost jobs in August in the seven county metro.
