Two Arrested in Abduction of Infant from Noble

NOBLE, Okla. (AP) — Two people have been arrested for kidnapping a 7-month-old girl in Noble.

Cleveland County authorities say Randy Camp and Christina Wilcox were being held without bond Wednesday after allegedly taking the girl from a baby sitter and demanding $400 for her return.

Sheriff's spokeswoman Meghan McCormick says the money was apparently a debt the child's parents owed for living recently with Camp and Wilcox. McCormick didn't know if the two had attorneys.

Investigators say Camp and Wilcox forced their way into the home of the man keeping the infant on Monday and when they couldn't find the girl's parents they took her and said she would be returned for the $400. Deputies later stopped a car carrying Camp, Wilcox and the girl — who was unharmed and returned to her parents.
