Turnout of 50% or Better Expected in Tulsa County

File photo

Officials are hoping at least half those eligible will turn out to vote in Tuesday’s general election in Tulsa County. Election Board Secretary Patty Bryant says past similar votes and the early absentee balloting give her hope at least 50 percent will go to the polls. Rain may keep some away, but predictions are still between 50 and 55 percent turnout.

All registered voters, Republican, Democrat, and Independent will be able to vote. Polls are open 7am to 7pm. You need to show a photo I.D.
