Turley Residents to Get Back Billed for Sewer Services

KWGS News

The unincorporated community of Turley gets its sewer services from the city of Tulsa.  But, apparently, the city has not been charging all the residents for the service.

The city of Tulsa has found some 200 Turley customers that have not been paying for sewer service. Tulsa says it will now back bill those Turley residents, on average, around $1,300. Tulsa Utility Authority Chairman Rick Hudson says residents will have three-years to pay for back services.

The residents will receive a notice in the mail within the next few weeks. Turley residents get water from an independent rural water district.
