Tulsans Honor Dr. King

Tulsans line he streets to pay honor to civil rights icon Dr. Martin Luther King JR. Tulsa annually hosts one of the nations largest parades honoring Dr. King.

Two hundred and fifteen entries were in this year's parade including floats, bands, drill teams, and corporate displays. The Parade started near OSU Tulsa and wound through the historic Greenwood district near the John Hope Franklin Reconciliation Park before ending near downtown.

The parade culminates a week of activities in Tulsa remembering Dr. King and his legacy.
