SPC-Norman

The National Storm Prediction Center at Norman has place the region in its second (out of 5)  highest probability area. Below you will find the text from the SPC.  Remember, at KWGS and KWTU we bring you weather bulletins at once from the National Weather Service.

Severe thunderstorms capable mainly of large hail and damaging winds are expected over parts of the southern Plains and Ozarks late this afternoon and evening, perhaps continuing into parts of the lower Ohio Valley late tonight. There is a Moderate Risk of severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening across central and northern Oklahoma, southwest Missouri, and northwest Arkansas. Very large hail will be possible in the Moderate Risk area.
