Tulsa Protest Against Cushing to Memphis Pipeline

Tulsa Stands with Standing Rock-Facebook

A hundred people or more turnout on a chilly Saturday afternoon to protest a proposed pipeline. The gathering was held at the John Hope Franklin Reconciliation Park in downtown Tulsa.

Those gathered are opposed to the Diamond Pipeline that would connect the Cushing oil pipeline hub with a refinery in Memphis.

The proposed route would cross several rivers including the Arkansas River. It would also cross Indian Tribal Nations.
