Tulsa, OK – TULSA, Okla. (AP) The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office says a 31-year-old jail inmate has died.

Sgt. Shannon Clark says Damien Tucker died Friday after possibly going into cardiac arrest.

Clark says Tucker started feeling sick in his cell and contacted a detention officer for help. He says Tucker lost consciousness soon afterward and was taken to the jail's medical unit.

Clark says Tucker was then transported by ambulance to Hillcrest Medical Center, where he later died.

Tucker was booked into Tulsa Jail in November 2008 on charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon and eluding a police officer, among other counts.

Clark says the Medical Examiner's Office in Tulsa will determine a cause of death.
