Tulsa is now included in the WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY. The most pressing problem here will be the possibility of slick streets. The bridges and overpasses will become dangerous first. Below, you will find the text of the National Weather Service's statement: A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT... FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES... * IN OKLAHOMA...WASHINGTON...WAGONER...OTTAWA...PAWNEE... DELAWARE...CHEROKEE...ADAIR...CRAIG...NOWATA...CREEK...TULSA... ROGERS...MAYES AND OSAGE. IN ARKANSAS...BENTON...WASHINGTON... CARROLL AND MADISON. * AREAS OF FREEZING RAIN...MIXED WITH SLEET CONTINUE THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA...GENERALLY ALONG AND NORTH OF INTERSTATE 44. PRECIPITATION WILL LIKELY CONTINUE WITH A WINTRY MIX SHIFTING SOUTHEAST THIS EVENING. THIS ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED TO TRANSITION MAINLY TO A SNOW...SLEET MIXTURE... ESPECIALLY IN AREAS NORTH AND NORTHWEST OF TULSA. RAIN WITH SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA...SPREADING INTO NORTHWEST ARKANSAS THIS AFTERNOON. THE RAIN SHOULD TRANSITION TO A FREEZING RAIN...SLEET MIX ACROSS A LARGE PORTION OF NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO EARLY EVENING WITH LINGERING LIGHT FREEZING DRIZZLE AFTER MIDNIGHT. * SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF ONE TO TWO INCHES...PRIMARILY OVER PAWNEE ...OSAGE AND WASHINGTON COUNTIES AND ALONG THE OKLAHOMA...KANSAS STATE LINE WILL BE POSSIBLE. ICE ACCUMULATIONS AROUND A TENTH OF AN INCH ARE ALSO EXPECTED ACROSS MUCH OF NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS...GENERALLY NORTH OF A EUFAULA...WITTER LINE. IMPACTS... * ROADS IN THE ADVISORY AREA MAY BECOME SLICK AND HAZARDOUS... ESPECIALLY ON BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES AND NON-TREATED SURFACES.
