Tulsa Health Leaders Seek to Calm Fears about Ebola

There’s renewed concern now that the first person on U.S.  soil diagnosed with Ebola has died in Dallas. There’s concern, but also a lot of misinformation is going around about the lethal virus.

The Tulsa Health Department has facts and what you need to know on its’ website at www.tulsa-health.org. Elizabeth Nutt with the Tulsa Department agrees with the experts that a large outbreak in the U.S.  is unlikely.

Nutt says there is an emergency response team that coordinates with the local medical community and it is ready to go should it be needed, but again any large scale outbreak in this country is highly unlikely.
