Tulsa County Appreciates Law Officers

Tulsa County Sheriff

Tulsa County leaders say it’s time to show appreciation for those who enforce the law. A resolution recognizing National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day is passed. Tulsa Sheriff Stanley Glanz says such recognition now is important, given recent situations that have brought out protestors against police involved shootings and tactics. He believes lawmen and women are getting a ‘bad rap’.

The resolution is in solidarity with Concerns of Police Survivors, or COPS, the group behind Law Enforcement Day.
