Tulsa Cops Cracking Down on DUI Drivers this Weekend

File photo

On this last holiday weekend of the summer, Tulsa Police will be on the lookout for drunk and impaired drivers. A DUI checkpoint will be set up near a busy Memorial Drive intersection. Craig Murray is the police department’s traffic safety officer, and he says there will be no tolerance for anyone arrested on suspicion of driving impaired…they will go to jail.

The special enforcement crackdown is part of the ‘Safer Summer in Tulsa’ campaign.
