Tulsa Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested in Joplin

Joplin Police

Police in Joplin, along with the FBI, arrest a man in connection with a Tulsa bank robbery. Joplin Police arrested 35-year-old Joshua Gilchrist after reporters he was spotted casing two banks in that city. 

Police says Gilchrist used his brother's identity and bonded out of jail. It was after that they learned he was also wanted to the robbery of the Bank of Oklahoma branch in the Springdale Shopping Center at Pine and North Lewis in Tulsa.

Officers started a new search and located Gilchrist at a Joplin motel. He remains in custody this morning.
