TULSA, Okla. (AP) — The University of Tulsa football team has held its first practice of fall camp.
The Golden Hurricane held a two-hour practice Saturday morning — working out in shorts and helmets.
Head coach Bill Blankenship says that both he and the players are excited to be preparing for the season and that the players showed a lot of energy.
TU will have a total of 18 preseason practices before the season opener on August 28th against the Tulane Green Wave.
The team is to return for a second day of practice on Sunday.
