Tulsa, Oklahoma – On today's edition of our show, one day after the U.S. stock market's mysterious and --- thankfully --- temporary 1,000-point drop, we are discussing economic matters both domestically and around the globe with Emily Kaiser, formerly of Tulsa, who covers macroeconomics for the Reuters news service. Kaiser joined Reuters in 1996 as a commodities reporter covering grain markets and the Chicago Board of Trade. She moved to London in 2000 to cover European stock markets, and later covered large-cap U.S. retailers. She moved to Washington in 2007. Kaiser will be the speaker at the Tulsa Press Club's 2010 Distinguished Journalism Lectureship. This event, which is sold out, will happen today (Friday the 7th) at noon at the Tulsa Community College's Center for Creativity (at 909 S. Boston Avenue).
