MANGUM, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says three people have been killed in the crash of a twin-engine airplane in southwestern Oklahoma.
Trooper Betsy Randolph said the crash of the Beechcraft Baron was reported about 5:30 p.m. Saturday near Mangum in Greer County — about 150 miles southwest of Oklahoma City.
Randolph said all three people aboard the aircraft were killed. She did not know where the flight had originated or where it was headed.
Randolph said the Federal Aviation Administration has been notified of the crash and is sending investigators to the site. An FAA spokesman did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Associated Press.
