Tribe Helps Own With Holiday Needs

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. (AP) — Cherokee Nation Businesses has contributed $20,000 to the Cherokee Nation Angel Project to help make Christmas dreams come true for thousands of Cherokee children. Along with the money, employees from the tribe, its business arm and entertainment properties have adopted more than 650 angels. This is the ninth consecutive year that Cherokee Nation Businesses and its employees have participated in adopting angels for the annual program.
