The Tulsa Public Schools get a major grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The grant totals $100,000. Tulsa School Superintendent Dr. Keith Ballard says the money will help fund collaboration efforts between charter schools and TPS.
Dr. Ballard says the Tulsa School District works with three charter programs, KIPP, Lighthouse Academy and the Tulsa School of Arts and Science.
