Tulsa, OK – Tulsa police find car connected to fatal accident

TULSA, Okla. (AP) Tulsa police have found a vehicle they believe was involved in a hit-and-run accident that killed a motorcyclist.

Officers say 52-year-old Donald Anderson was pronounced dead at a hospital after the crash about 9 p.m. Monday.

Investigators say a gray or silver Chevrolet Camaro turned in front of the motorcycle on north Peoria, throwing Anderson to the pavement.

Capt. Dave Roberts says officers received an anonymous tip on Tuesday that someone had seen the vehicle near Cincinnati Avenue and 54th Street North.

Officers found the vehicle in the back yard of a house on 54th Street North with damage to the front passenger side and around the passenger-side door.

The driver was described as a black man in his early 20s.
