Heavy rains caused some flooding problems in and to the south of Tulsa.

A slow moving thunderstorms dumped some much needed rain on the Tulsa area,  but at the same time, it caused numerous problems for Tulsa commuters.

The heavy rain snarled the morning rush period with wrecks reported on the expressway system. There were reports of cars hydroplaning on I-44, I-2-44, 169 and the Broken Arrow Expressway.

There was a five vehicle crash on Highway 412 on the bridge crossing Lake Keystone.

The Tulsa Police Department went to Operation Slick Streets, where officers only responded to injury crashes.
