Terlton Update – 40 homes destroyed in deadly Terlton wildfire

TERLTON, Okla. (AP) A wildfire in Pawnee County have destroyed nearly 40 homes and done up to $20 million worth of damage.
KJRH-TV (http://bit.ly/oGaiuT) reports that residents are starting to sift through the ashes. The fire singed more than 10,000 acres of land in the county.
One person was found dead Thursday inside a home that burned. At least two other people were injured in the blaze near Oklahoma Highway 48 this week.
