Tenative FIRE Agreement

By KWGS News

Tulsa, OK – Mayor Bartlett and the fire fighter's union have reached a tentative agreement. This comes on the same day 147-fire-fighters were told they would be laid-off IF they did not agree to a concession package. Details of the agreement are not available, however, it would greatly reduce the number of lay-offs if not totally eliminate them.
The fire chief had announced the mayor had offered money from the city's emergency reserve fund to help save some of the fire fighters. The Union members will vote on the contract next week over a three day period.
