Teachers in the Tulsa Public Schools will be getting a pay raise following action by the Tulsa School Board last night.

The board approved a 1.5% pay hike for teachers. It would cost the school district about $1.6-million.

For the average teacher it would be about $400 a year raise. That figure is before taxes.
