Taylor Launches Mayoral Campaign

KWGS news

On the heels of Dewey Bartlett's formal campaign launch yesterday, former Tulsa Mayor Kathy Taylor officially kicks off her bid for another term in City Hall.

"I'm running because I have a passion for the future of Tulsa," Taylor said, "and I saw when I was mayor before what you can do when you have a diverse group of voices at the table."

"I think there's a need for making a difference in public safety, in education, in our transportation infrastructure," she said, "all of those things must be great to lay the foundation for good jobs."

Taylor is the third candidate in mayoral race so far. She faces former City Councilor Bill Christiansen and incumbent Dewey Bartlett.
