Oklahoma City, OK – Gov. appoints members to task force on tax reform

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Gov. Mary Fallin has appointed seven people to a task force that it to study and recommend potential changes to Oklahoma tax laws.

A Tuesday news release from Fallin announced the appointments of business leaders, a chief financial officer, a county assessor and a tax attorney to the Task Force on Comprehensive Tax Reform. The group is to look for ways to simplify the state tax code for individuals and businesses.

It is to have its report ready by August 2012.

The members are Rick Dowell of Norman; Don Millican of Broken Arrow; Chuck Mills of Shawnee; Dana Webber of Tulsa; Nick Tricinella of Edmond, Bryan Gonterman of Edmond; and Wade Patterson of Enid.
