A task force made up of Tulsa Sheriff’s deputies and Tulsa police officers will focus on a rash of retail store robberies that have been occurring recently. Undersheriff Tim Albin says organized crews of thieves have been going into convenience and department stores, and strip shopping malls and swiping everything from expensive perfume and clothes to cases of beer.
Albin says some of the thieves on surveillance video are known to law enforcement as having gang affiliations or records for similar crimes in the past.
