STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — Number 15 Oklahoma State refused to overlook an inferior opponent. With three key Big 12 games beginning next week, it might have been human nature to look past lowly Kansas, but the Cowboys rolled 42-6 yesterday. Clint Chelf completed 19 of 37 passes for 265 yards and three touchdowns and Justin Gilbert returned the opening kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown as Oklahoma State won its fifth straight game.
BETHANY, Okla. (AP) — Freshman Elliot Taylor led five members of the Lyon College women's basketball team in double-figures with 11 points and nine boards in a 71-60 victory over Southwestern Christian University. Taylor hit 5-of-7 from the field and scored nine of her points in the first half of Friday night's game.
