Sunday Morning Quarter Back

By AP

Undated – Here is the latest Oklahoma sports news from The Associated Press

NEW ORLEANS (AP) G.J. Kinne threw for 241 yards and three touchdowns in New Orleans to lead Tulsa past Tulane 31-3 on Saturday. The Golden Hurricane are 7-0 against the Green Wave since joining Conference USA in 2005, winning each game by at least 24 points. The Oklahoma Sooners continued to prepare this weekend for their September 17th matchup against Florida State.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) Tyler Wilson threw for 259 yards and accounted for a pair of touchdowns as Number 14 Arkansas defeated New Mexico 52-3 on Saturday. Marquel Wade also returned a kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown for the Razorbacks, who now have three special teams' touchdowns in their first two games.

AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AP) The 25th-ranked TCU Horned Frogs brushed off their Baylor blues and routed Air Force 35-19 Saturday for their 18th straight win in the Mountain West Conference. The Fort Worth-based Horned Frogs were efficient in bouncing back from their stunning 50-48 loss at Baylor last week that ended their BCS-best 25-game regular-season winning streak.

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) Pinch-hitter Scott Sizemore's grand slam at Rangers Ballpark helped the Oakland Athletics end a nine-game skid against Texas with an 8-7 victory on Saturday. Texas manager Ron Washington replaced starter Alexi Ogando with left-handed reliever Mike Gonzalez in the sixth inning after Ogando hit an Oakland batter with a pitch.
