Undated – No injuries, some damage reported with Okla storms

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Authorities say a small tornado has damaged several buildings in northeast Oklahoma and straight-line winds damaged homes in Oklahoma City, but no injuries were reported.

A twister moved through Mayes County about 9 a.m. Friday, destroying a storage shed and damaging metal buildings. Emergency Management Director Johnny Janzen says no one was hurt.

A tornado warning was issued for McCurtain County, but officials say no tornadoes were immediately confirmed.

Severe storms tore the roof off at least one home and blew the window out of another in southeast Oklahoma City. Deputy Fire Chief Cecil Clay said the National Weather Service was asked to investigate whether a microburst occurred.

A small tornado also was confirmed near Fort Cobb in Caddo County on Thursday, but no injuries or significant damage were reported.
