Soldier Killed

Duncan, OK – Services set for Duncan soldier

DUNCAN, Okla. (AP) Funeral services are now scheduled for a soldier from Duncan who was killed in Afghanistan.

Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in Frontier Chapel at Fort Sill for 34-year-old Pfc. Dennis Pratt.

Pratt was one of four soldiers killed July 20 when the Humvee they were in was hit by rocket-propelled grenades. He was assigned to the 4th Battalion, 25th Field Artillery, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) of Fort Drum, N.Y.

He's survived by his wife, Michelle, a 9-year-old daughter and sons ages 8 and 3.
