Tulsa, OK – Wintry weather closes schools in NE Oklahoma
TULSA, Okla. (AP) Snow that fell across northeastern Oklahoma during the weekend has left many roads slick and led school officials to cancel classes.
Several school officials say the primary problem is side roads and those in rural areas of the counties in the region.
The National Weather Service has also issued a winter weather advisory until noon Monday for Cherokee, Adair, Sequoyah and Delaware counties. The weather service says one-half to one inch accumulation is possible.
