Snow Causing Problems in OKC

Oklahoma Department of Commerce/3rd Floor

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — An Emergency Medical Services Authority spokeswoman says an EMSA ambulance and a Canadian County sheriff's patrol car collided on a snow slickened Oklahoma City roadway.

EMSA spokeswoman Lara O'Leary says there were no injuries in the Tuesday morning accident in western Oklahoma City.

O'Leary says the ambulance was responding to a 911 call when the call was canceled. She says the ambulance was turning around to return to service when the accident occurred.

O'Leary says the ambulance service has responded to seven auto accidents and 12 people who have slipped and fallen since midnight and that 10 people have been transported to area hospitals. Their conditions were not available.
