SLIDE SHOW: Broken Arrow Dedicates a New Public Safety Center

A flag raising and ribbon cutting mark the grand opening of Broken Arrow’s safety center. Chief David Boggs says it includes his police department, fire administration, emergency operations, and dispatch center. He says having all those entities under one roof will help communication and response to emergency events and make citizens safer.

The facility is located just off the Broken Arrow expressway in a building renovated through an eight million dollar bond issue. It’s on donated federal land.
