Google Street View

A grim discovery is made just south of Cushing. The body of 26-year-old Sheralynn Neff of Newton, Kansas was located this morning after making a flawed jump from an airplane on Sunday afternoon.

The body was found just across the county line in Lincoln County, where Charlie Dougherty is sheriff. The sheriff says the woman was not in a harness and her body was located several miles away from where her parachute had drifted.

The FAA is on the scene at Cushing and is conducting an investgation. The sheriff says Neff was an accomplished skydiver.
