Tulsa, Oklahoma – Our guest today is Rabbi Benjamin Blech. He's the co-author of "The Sistine Secrets: Michelangelo's Forbidden Messages in the Heart of the Vatican." Rabbi Blech tells us how --- and why --- the great artist inserted not just a few but many subversive and even heretical images and messages into his masterful --- and massive --- series of paintings in the ceiling of the Vatican's Sistine Chapel. And what, you may ask, were these dangerous images and messages about? For starters, ideas like brotherhood, tolerance, and free-thinking.
