Shooting at OKC Airport

Advanced Masonry

At least 1 person was shot near a parking garage at Oklahoma City's Will Rogers World Airport on Tuesday, prompting city officials to close the airport and order people inside a sprawling terminal to seek shelter.

Video from television station helicopters showed what appeared to be a pool of blood near the bottom of a ramp leading from the airport's departure area.

Capt. PacoBalderrama says police are searching for a possible second victim. He says he does not know the condition of the confirmed victim.

Airport spokeswoman Karen Carney says all operations are suspended.

Carney says 7,000 to 8,000 travelers go through the airport daily.
