Tulsa, Oklahoma – On our show today, we present an interesting discussion with bestselling author and TV personality Shirley Corriher, whose books include "CookWise" and "BakeWise" --- and who's probably best known to television viewers for her informed appearances on the "Good Eats" show with Food Network star Alton Brown. From public radio's Lynne Rossetto Kasper to the late Julia Child, whenever that carefully prepared dish somehow goes wrong, Corriher has served as a first-call consultant. For several decades now, in fact, she's been an ace trouble-shooter when it comes to the science of the kitchen. As part of the TU College of Engineering and Natural Sciences' Norman M. Hulings, Jr., Memorial Lecture Series, Corriher will give a free-to-the-public address on "The Chemistry of Cooking" at 7pm tonight (Monday the 4th) in the Allen Chapman Activity Center on the University of Tulsa campus.
