A 'Shakey" Weekend in Central Oklahoma

EDMOND, Okla. (AP) — A magnitude 3.7 earthquake rattled the ground near Edmond, one of 16 temblors that occurred Saturday.

The Edmond quake was at about 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, centered five miles east of the city and nine miles northwest of Choctaw.

Two earthquakes were near Spencer. A magnitude 2.6 quake struck at about 5:40 a.m. and a 3.6 was logged at about 9:20 a.m.

A magnitude 2.7 earthquake also struck just northwest of Jones around 7 a.m.
