Scott Cruse Named Head of FBI's Oklahoma Division

FBI

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — FBI Director James Comey has named Scott Cruse as special agent in charge of the FBI's Oklahoma Division, which covers all 77 counties in the state.

Cruse comes to Oklahoma City from London, where he served as legal attaché as part of the FBI's International Operations Division. Cruse replaces former Special Agent in Charge James Finch, who has retired.

Cruse is a former U.S. Marine Corps officer who joined the FBI in 1987 when he was assigned to the FBI's office in Butte, Montana, and investigated violent crime on Montana's Indian reservations.

Cruse has also served as a supervisor in the Indian Country Unit at FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C., where he developed a core training curriculum for agents, as well as the FBI's legal attache in Australia.
