By Rich Fisher

Tulsa, Oklahoma – It's Science Week here on StudioTulsa --- a series of five great conversations from our archives, each of them concerning various matters scientific. On this edition of the program, our guest is Dr. Gary Small, one of the nation's leading neuroscientists and an expert on the brain's operation as well as its behavior. Dr. Small has co-written a new book, called "iBrain," which he discusses with host Rich Fisher. This book explores how technology's incessant if not dizzying progress has altered --- indeed, has already seriously changed --- the way young minds develop, function, and interpret information. One critic, writing for Library Journal, has noted that "iBrain" makes its "case based on abundant research in the areas of health, psychology, pediatrics, education, business, and technology.... A compelling as well as timely read, this is highly recommended."
