Sand Springs, OK – Okla. man hurt in industrial accident
SAND SPRINGS, Okla. (AP) Authorities say an 18-year-old man suffered serious injuries after he was hurt in an industrial accident in Sand Springs.
The Sand Springs Fire Department says the man was working at Webco on Saturday afternoon when a heavy roll of raw material fell onto him, crushing his legs.
The fire department helped extricate and stabilize the man until emergency workers arrived.
The man, who hasn't been identified, was taken to a Tulsa hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
Webco manufactures specialty metal tubing and pipes.
