Tulsa, OK – The Tulsa Planning Commission considers allowing roof-top signs in the Blue Dome District. Blake Ewing owns "Joe Mama's" Pizza near 1st and Elgin. He wants one of the signs, similar to the Meadow Gold sign near 11th and Peoria which is permited under a grandfather clause.

Michael Sager owns the 1st Street Lofts. He reminded the commission that there is more to signage than letters. He calls it an art form.

The Commission approved allowing the signs in the Blue Dome District and will forward that recommendation to the Tulsa City Council, which will have the final say.
