Robbers Quickly Hit Four Businesses Within Minutes

KWGS News File Photo

Tulsa Police investigate a rash of robberies that hit stores just minutes apart. It began at a dollar general when a manager was opening the store and was shot at several times by an individual. Tulsa Officer Leland Ashley says three other incidents occurred very quickly at different Subway shops nearby.

"We believe potentially all of these robberies are related, just for the time distance from each other. It appears that this individual did have some type of pattern that they were going into while committing these robberies."

Ashley says the robberies are most likely related.

"Three of the robberies were at subways. These individuals targeted locations that they probably thought they could be in and out in a hurry. We have no reason to believe that this is part of any type of on going robbery spree. But still, it brings concern to us - any time we have individuals commit these number of robberies in such a short period of time."

Police are still investigating the four separate attempts of robbery, which occurred this morning. All of the robberies were close to 41st and Memorial.
